PHILADELPHIA – June 24, 2025 – NASCAR and Xumo formally announced today that Xumo will take to the streets of Chicago this Independence Day Weekend as a Founding Partner of the Chicago Street Race Weekend, taking place July 5-6 in Chicago’s iconic Grant Park. This news brings together two dynamic brands committed to delivering premium experiences to fans through innovation, access, and technology.

Xumo — the streaming joint venture between Comcast and Charter — provides consumers across the country with an easy and seamless way to watch their favorite shows and movies via Xumo TV, Xumo Stream Box and Xumo Play. Now, as a proud new partner of the NASCAR Chicago Street Race, Xumo will play a central role in one of the most anticipated sporting events of the summer.

This announcement builds on momentum from earlier this year, when NASCAR announced the launch of its official FAST (free ad-supported streaming TV) channel on Xumo Play. The channel offers race fans round-the-clock NASCAR content, including classic races, re-airs of the season’s events, original series, documentaries and more.

"The NASCAR Chicago Street Race Weekend is one of the most exciting and unique experiences in sports, and now fans will have even more ways to immerse themselves in the action through Xumo," said Fern Feistel, Vice President, Marketing at Xumo. “Whether it’s watching content at home or engaging with the race in person, we’re making it easier for fans to connect with NASCAR in bold, innovative ways."

As part of its Founding Partner role, Xumo will have a significant on-site presence throughout race weekend, offering fans immersive experiences that blend technology and entertainment. Attendees can explore interactive displays, access to content, and experience hands-on demos of Xumo’s streaming products, giving fans a first-hand look at the future of watching NASCAR, both at home and on the go.

“We’re all about bringing speed to the streets of Chicago, so there is no better partner to help us do that than Xumo,” said Julie Giese, NASCAR Chicago Street Race President. “From their FAST channel on Xumo Play to their activation at track, we’re excited to partner with Xumo to bring the fans closer to the action than ever before.”

The partnership between Xumo and NASCAR reflects a shared commitment to innovation, accessibility, and community connection. Both brands are focused on meeting fans where they are — whether that's on the streets of Chicago or streaming from their living rooms — and creating experiences that are as dynamic and engaging as the sport itself.

As part of the partnership, Xumo and the Chicago Street Race have committed to each organization's collaborative support for programs that will have a positive and lasting impact in the Chicago community.
